    Well, if you were born and just left to fend for yourself, you definitely wouldn't survive. It's through love and obligation of others that you even stand a chance. The older you get, the less obligated people feel to help you. Now you're 34 and don't know how to help yourself and the only person who really cares, you're to afraid to tell, because you don't want to make her worry more.

    I mean, in a way I could see being born as the most tragic thing that’s happened… not because of the whole “ripped from a person” or whatever his explanation was, but because one moment your drifting through the void -completely unbothered- the next thing you know BOOM! Welcome to the world. Depending on the family and/or situation you’re born into, “Welcome to Hell” wouldn’t be a far off. You have NO idea what you’re in for, and you’re lucky if you even have a good start. There’s a chance you may be born rich, which might make things easier, but it’s an exceedingly slim one. Then before you know it in comes adulthood, and well; best of luck. It’s really all that can be said. So yeah, if you can find the courage to just continue existing. To pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and face another day… know that you can push further. Because while we didn’t choose to exist, it’s certainly our choice to keep going. If you hold that strength, for your loved ones or yourself; you’re close enough to a hero in my eyes. Feel free to rip me to shreds if you think what I said was absolute cringe. That’s perfectly fine.

    yea you didn't survive that alone.. and you wouldn't It's like saying 'hey, you won the race against a million others (sperm)' but you are in this world now, and we are millions still >.> In the arc of that story, you are the only one who got it easy for all intents and purposes. But you will spent the rest of your life debating each side and you will not always find your way easy.

    One problem with this though is that a baby is ENTIRELY dependent on other people for survival. I know he is talking about the birthing experience here, but other than crying when something is wrong so that someone can respond to it, a baby’s survival has practically nothing to do with them. Strength comes from persevering when things are the toughest. Thats where character is truly tested. Not when things are easy. To say you can survive anything else because you survived birth, when the whole idea of growing stronger is to be more and more self accountable and responsible, doesn’t seem like we are comparing the same thing here at all lol.

  • @CaptainIsNasty
    @CaptainIsNasty 12 дней назад

    Not exactly true, until you gain the knowledge and experience to understand the world around you most trauma is not able to be processed and it turns into a primitive lesson. Take for example cutting your hand on a something sharp as a 2 or 3 yr old, you cry and feel pain and it sucks but when you grow up and for some reason have this cation towards a certain item it may be because it hurt you or scared you before you could understand what it is or was.
